Sculptures
Rosamund first attended sculpture classes in Wellington in 1982. She found that creating 3D expressive forms in malleable clay, wood, wax and bronze; came easily and sculpture remains a lifelong love. More recently she has progressed to carving stone, soapstone in Canada, Mt Sommer’s limestone, marble and granite. Her largest (5 tonnes of volcanic andesite) public sculpture created in collaboration with Anna Korver sits outside the new Mental Health Unit at Hawke’s Bay Hospital.
